| This photo shows what was the former coach house of Lindrick house where I lived in the 60’s . It was in total disrepair when my parents bought the property in the early 60’s and was part of a row of outhouses and stores along the properties boundary. My parents renovated it and turned it into a house with 4 bedrooms each of which was decorated in a different pastel shade. The rooms were let out , some to staff at Edlinton school where my father was deputy head. In front of the gate were a series of stables which my parents used as potting sheds and a way to the vegetable garden. Occasional visit from escaped cows had to be shooed back through this gate and back to their field in the paddock to the right of the picture . | |
