Lindrick house was my home in the 60’s . In those days it wasn’t painted and the buildings on the right were still used as garages and stores . The first to be renovated was the furthest, a coach house which was made into a four bedroomed house which was rented out . It had solid fuel heating and the pipes regularly froze in winter when we were bathed in. Tin bath in front of the Aga in the kitchen . It was a wonderful place to grow up in and I have many happy memories of my early childhood . My parent had a bungalow built at the top of the field stretching up Lindrick lane for my fathers parents . When it was built it was named Horseshoes as so many were found in the building process.
