Welcome to Tickhill & District Local History Society's Website.

We have developed this new version of our website in order to make it much easier to navigate and to find items of interest.

Since we launched our original website in 2006 we have collected a wealth of articles, newsletters, living memories and photographs and we are extremely grateful to all those who have contributed.

We hope that you will enjoy exploring the site and that you will visit us again (and again!) as lots of new material and photographs will be added regularly.

We have tried to ensure that all the material on the site is factually accurate. People's memories are wonderful things but...

We have tried to contact the owners of the copyright of any materials we have used, but this is often very difficult to ascertain; materials have been used in good faith and in the spirit of sharing Tickhill's heritage with all those who are interested in Tickhill.

We welcome your feedback and especially any information you can give us, any stories you can tell, or any photographs you can lend us to copy.
